shootingsessions

Many of you doesn't know that we are also the people behind shootingsessions. Shootingsessions is composed of two people, me and my wife, slash co-founder,co-photographer, and slash colorist. We founded SS way back in April of  2019 on my wife's birthday, We really don't know why we named it SS, but believe me I coined that name while sitting on the toilet bowl. It was really a wordplay not getting any serious about the name but, yeah! Shootingsessions was born. 

Fast forward 2020 pandemic came, and we had a baby boy. His name is Jakob, he was a blessing to us, and he's our main source of inspiration and joy. As he grow, so was our responsibility as parents, so we both decided that April would step down and do full-time parenting, and that left me alone in this game.

After that we decided to retire shootingsessions and not thinking about getting back. I was lost and happy at the same time on my photography journey during that time. 

When i was about to give up, that's also the time that they keep coming, so i decided to continue but with new brand name and skin. Without much thinking of the new name and branding, I just copied my Instagram profile's name; That Bearded Kid, that's self explanatory if you know and saw me. Unlike SS's color palettes of light pink, white, and magenta. ThatBeardedKid has only two significantly strong but simple and clean colors, Black and White which also by the way are my favorite colors. 

For our new logo, we decided to use the acronym of thatbeardedkid and that is TBK, The other one is a vectorized cropped head photo of mine, side view while looking up and with black and white texts circling around.  Shootingsessions is never dead, we've just re-branded.
